2018 was one of the hardest years of my life. I mostly wanted to sing about someone who I felt attracted to and how I struggled I to open up to him. For the first time someone told me that they loved me, called me baby, and fiercely stood up for like a knight in shining armor. When I was younger my mom told me that when I get older I'll find myself in a place where I'll have to deal with racism. This was one of those years.
I close the album leaving a horrible environment and finding a place where I can truly be myself and be treated as an equal. Angelic Magic is magic used by angels and purple is used in magic to tell the future. When I was a toddler my favorite color was purple. For me purple symbolizes that even after the darkness that you go through there is still light at the end of the tunnel.
